In our constant search for finding farm to table dining experiences (not hard in California), we came across what has to be one of the COOLEST dining experiences:  Standing in the Field, a roving culinary adventure.  What does this mean?  They set up a long table just about anywhere – farms, gardens, mountain tops, caves, ranches, and then use local ingredients and a local celebrated chef to whip up a divine meal. The best part is the brains behind this on-the-go establishment built a company by “honoring the people whose good work brings nourishment to the table.”
